PROBATE & ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES

Simon Ambrose, the senior partner, is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate practitioners (STEP). He has also successfully completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation, gaining a distinction. The STEP website states "Full members of STEP are by definition the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of Trusts and Estates. Look out for the letters TEP – Trust and Estate Practitioner, as the hallmark of quality".

PAGE 6 - THE TEAM

Simon Ambrose, the senior partner, joined the firm in 1979. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1978 having been previously called to the Bar. He became a partner in 1980. He specialises in Wills, Probate and Trust work and is a member of S.T.E.P. He has also successfully completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation, gaining a distinction.
He is married, his wife is the office manager and they have two children. In his spare time he enjoys sailing, walking his dog and riding his motorbike.

Angeline Martin was born and brought up in Wadebridge, Angeline studied law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and her LPC at the College of Law in Chester. On completing her studies, she returned to Wadebridge where she qualified in 2001. She became a partner in 2008. She is Head of the Property Department at Macmillans and specialises in all aspects of domestic, commercial and agricultural property law.
Angeline lives in Wadebridge with a small menagerie of animals including two small children and a husband. In her spare time she can be found in the local countryside either riding or running or walking her dogs.

Terri Paget joined the firm in 2001 whilst a student at Plymouth University, working initially as a legal secretary whilst completing her Law degree. She completed her LPC at Exeter University and was admitted as a solicitor in 2007.
She specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing.
Outside work, her interests are reading, the beach and travel.

Graham Calvesbert moved from Suffolk to join Macmillans in 1986. He specialises in Divorce, Family matters and Litigation; he understands the stress which litigation puts on clients and looks to find a swift solution to problems.
He has two children and two grandchildren, all living locally; he now regards Cornwall as home. Outside the office, Graham is a keen musician, running the Wadebridge Accoustic Guitar Club as well as organising “Buskaid”, his band of buskers raising money for a number of charities.

Teresa Andrew joined the firm in 2012; she is a Legal Executive specialising in Private Client work. She is a student member of STEP. She was educated at Cornwall College, Truro College and the ILEX Tutorial College. When not at work she enjoys foreign travel, DIY, cooking walking and studying.
